Ganesh Chaturthi Festival is celebrated widely in India, which this pastel painting is about. God Ganesha is invited in homes for ten days. Everyday there are prayers sung morning and evening. The festival culminates this week when very large clay idols of God Ganesh are carried in festive processions to the sea where they are immersed and God returns to his heavenly abode to return following year. 🙏🙏🙏
