Visiting Benares a few years ago, we went on an evening boat ride to watch the grand arti puja at the main ghat. While waiting I noticed that all the boats were reading the plates filled with marigold to float in the Ganges. And led to a photo and this pastel. I love the translucency of water and also the planks on the boat.
