Road to Nowhere

I painted this when I was feeling down, feeling like being on a busy treadmill of life that appeared to go nowhere. There is a lot of contrast captured in the painting. There is color contrast between strong fall colors and the dull grey road. There is energetic foliage contrasting the plain road and sky. This modern composition depicts deep feelings of contrast of a busy life with lots of activity yet lack of fulfillment.
