Vivid Boats 2023

Explosion of color makes this painting come alive. I wanted to boldly go on color path where I had not gone before, and I succeeded in creating a vibrant piece. Boats has been a life long fascination for me, so when I visted Benares, it was like being in a boat candy store. So many boats on every ghat. This particular composition was very appealing as collective of boats moored together signifies a warm and close community.
